Get your rig weighed at all wheel positions

The RVSEF will once again be providing our wheel position weighing service for Grand Design owners attending the rally. This is the GOLD standard for weighing RVs. The cost is $70 (all credit cards, apple pay, cash or check). We are making arrival appointments to be weighed as you arrive and before you check-in to the rally. We will also be at the rally to make departure day weighing appointments.

 After weighing you will receive a comprehensive report of the individual wheel weights, axle weights, pin/tongue weight and percentage, gross vehicle weights for both your truck and trailer/Motorhome, and any warnings of over-weight conditions for tires, axles, hitch, GVWR and GCWR. You will receive tire pressure recommendations based on your individual weights and the tire load inflation tables for your specific tires. With this information, along with our presentation on RV Weight and Tire Safety, you will learn a lot about how to safely RV within the weight safety limitations established by the manufacturer of your truck and RV

RV weighing location at the Goshen 4H Fairgrounds

 As you arrive at the fairgrounds, enter through gate 3 to get weighed. Once we have weighed your rig then proceed up the hill to gate 7 to check in to the rally. They will escort you to your site to unhitch. If you are pulling a travel trailer or fifth wheel trailer, Immediately after unhitching (before setting up), please return to the weigh site with all cargo and passengers in the truck so that we can weigh your truck again without the trailer attached. (it only takes us 2 minutes). The difference between the two truck weights is needed to determine the pin/tongue weight. After we weigh the unhitched truck, you can return to your campsite and set up your RV for the rally.
